Barrow Central Wheelers / Lakes RC would like to thank everyone who turned up
for this the last event in the Hospice Hill Climb Series, kindly sponsored by
Biketreks who provided some excellent
prizes.
The headwind at the top of the course made it particularly tough this year, so
well deserved congratulations go to Dave Huck (Lakes RC) on winning the event, and setting a new course record
of 6:20. Congratulations also to Connor Furness on seting a new club record for
the climb of 6:51.
Thanks again to all who rode, marshalled, and supported the Hospice Hill Climb
Series in any way.
