The straightest and 'fastest' course. A non-technical all out power climb rising 205m over the 1.66 mile course. The start line is from the lay-by opposite the garage at the bottom of Grizebeck Hill, climbing straight up the main carriageway and finishing level with the lay-by situated on the left just after the T junction leading down to Woodland (towards Great Burney).

This climb is also used as part of the Torver SPOCO.

Where is it?
Travel towards Grizebeck village, the start line is at the point where the A5092 meets the A595. SATNAV- LA17 7XH

Parking and Safety
Riders and spectators are requested not to park in either lay-by for obvious safety reasons, and riders are advised to take care if descending the hill as this is a very fast descent with junctions at the bottom.
Note to junior competitors: This is a busy main road, only riders used to riding in traffic should take part in this race.
