Start/Finish: Cartmel
Course HQ: Layby opposite Cartmel Priory School
The start is approximately 0.33 mile from the Pig & Whistle junction heading
towards Field Broughton. The start position is the entrance to a field on
the left with a mini substation. The right-hand gate post is the start line.
Proceed toward Field Broughton. At fork in road bear left and on past Field
Broughton.
Carry on to junction with A590. Left to Newby Bridge,
straight across roundabout and follow A590 and left onto the B5278 (Holker
Mosses Road) and proceed to Low Wood, on past Stribers Farm, Holker Hall and
bear left at the pub as you approach Cark.
Keep left at the pub and
carry on round to the left to join the Cartmel Road. Finish opposite Cartmel
Priory school at the beginning of the layby (street light 165)
